Flag Retrieval Day

American War Graves Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery #1

Our Council has the honor and privilege of placing American flags on the graves of all Veterans interred at Vacaville-Elmira Cemetery. This is a meaningful tradition that shows our respect and gratitude for those who served our country.

• Morning Mass: 8:15 AM at St. Joseph Parish (optional)
• Cemetery Work: Meet at 10:00 AM
• Activity: Retrieving, cleaning, and storing flags

This is a noble endeavor that allows us to tangibly honor the sacrifice and service of our Veterans. Every flag we place represents a life of service and dedication to our country. Your participation helps ensure that no Veteran is forgotten on this important day of remembrance.

We need volunteers to help place and later retrieve the flags. This is a wonderful opportunity to serve alongside fellow Knights and Ladies while honoring those who served our nation. All are welcome and encouraged to participate!
